Messianice Prophecies

Messiah would be born of a virgin

Messiah would be listed in the lineage of  Abraham

(Genesis 12:1-3; 22:18; Matthew 1:1; Galatians 3:16),

Messiah would be of the tribe of Judah

(Genesis 49:10; Luke 3:23, 33; Hebrews 7:14), and of the house of David (2 Samuel 7:12-16; Matthew 1:1)

Herod orders slaughter of babies

Messiah would be taken to Egypt

Messiah would be Heralded by the messenger of the Lord
